Arizona General Power of Attorney

General Power of Attorney

A General Power of Attorney is a document that appoints an agent or attorney-in-fact to act in your place.  This power allows your agent to sign contracts, deposit and write checks on your behalf, and do any and everything that you can do financially for yourself. This may also be called a Durable Power of Attorney.  This can be effective immediately and used at anytime, or it can be effective only upon your incapacitation (sometimes called a Springing Power of Attorney).
